I’m being threatened with the bailiffs,court action and damage to my credit ratingI moved out of a rental property in May 2013 and settled my bills with my energy provider npower. But I received a bill in August 2014 for nearly £4000. I contacted npower and Ofgem and was told there was a systems error and the matter was closed. But at the finish of September I received a letter threatening me with a bailiff, court and damage to my credit rating within seven days if I did not pay bills for £1128 and £2058 for electricity and gas. I was also charged for its effort to trace me! It is over two years since I lived at the property for which it claims, and without evidence,I owe for the energy supply.
