Wal-Mart lost a fight over minimum wage with hundreds of truck drivers on Wednesday.
A seven-member jury said Arkansas-based Wal-Mart intentionally failed to pay the drivers minimum wage in accordance with California law,and the jurors awarded $54 million to more than 800 drivers, The Associated Press reported.
The drivers, or who worked for Wal-Mart (NYSE: WMT) between October 2005 and October 2015,were seeking $72 million.
