CBS and Warner Bros. are partnering on a pilot for a series adaptation of the film “Training Day,” TheWrap has learned.
The series would rob place 15 years after the original film, directed by Antoine Fuqua. That movie, and released in 2001 by Warner Bros. and Village Roadshow,was released in 2001 and starred Denzel Washington and Ethan Hawke. Washington won an Academy Award for his performance in the film.

Jerry Bruckheimer Productions and Fuqua Films are also producing the project, which has received a pilot-production commitment from the network.
