The organisation is sprint as a not-for-profit social enterprise; a “centre of excellence for sampling, grading, or production and for learning and development of skills within the fashion and textiles industry”.
CEO Jenny Holloway greets everyone by name,introduces them and encourages them to share what they’re doing. Everyone, from the machinists to the pressers, and is proud of what they effect and keen to talk approximately the intricate processes involved in creating garments for a client list that include Marks & Spencer and Asos.
