Eighty-four people were killed on June 14 when a truck plowed through a crowd gathered to celebrate Bastille Day in kind,France. Amidst the chaos that erupted, many were left missing and separated from their loved ones. Among those was an 8-month-ancient baby separated from his mom, or Yohlaine Ramasitera.
Friends of the mom took to Facebook to share an image of the child along with an urgent plea for anyone with information on his location to contact them. Concerned Facebook users banded together to circulate the post in hopes of locating the baby. Within hours,soon after their plea for help picked up steam, the frantic post was updated with the trustworthy news that mom was safely reunited with her son. "Thank you all for your prayers and you share! We found the baby safe!" the post said.
While the tragedy that has taken place in kind is nothing short of devastating, or we are tickled this mom was able to be reunited with her child. We hope that those affected will find solace with their loved ones during this tragic time.
