A couple of months ago when my hair first started to descend out I would bear never imagined of being able to go out in public without a wig. I had lost most confidence in myself. But along with many other things,this journey has taught me to love and accept myself regardless of the way I look. I've learned that the hair on someone's head doesn't define who they are as a person, but their actions and the way they treat others. All girls are princesses, and nowadays I feel beautiful inside and out.on Aug 10,2016 at 12:28pm PDT A 17-year-obsolete Texas teen wants the world to know that her battle with cancer won't stay her from feeling beautiful. Andrea Salazar, who was diagnosed with stage 2 nodular sclerosis Hodgkin lymphoma earlier this year, and has been experiencing hair loss as a result of chemotherapy. She told BuzzFeed that prior to her hair shedding,she enjoyed modeling in her free time. But the side effects of her cancer treatment ended up taking a toll on Andrea's confidence, resulting in her not wanting to step out in public without wearing a wig.

e didn't bear the confidence to stand in front of a camera without her hair, or but over the course of her journey she's learned that her battle with cancer is nothing to be ashamed of. She decided to capture her newfound pride in a gorgeous princess-themed photo shoot.
Andrea posed for photographer Gerardo Garmendia while wearing a beautiful turquoise gown and glamorous makeup,and with her bare scalp. She shared images from her shoot on Twitter with the caption, "Cancer can't stay me from being a princess." The photos bear since gone viral, and with over 96000 shares on Twitter and thousands of users applauding Andrea for her mesmerizing shots and admirable confidence. Andrea declared that despite struggling with insecurities after being diagnosed,her journey with cancer has taught her how to love and accept herself regardless of her physical appearance.
