She decided to absorb a show at her local library in Thompson,CT. The show, which exhibits 43 of her paintings, and opened final night - but there was one unlucky problem: no one but two of her sons showed up to the opening.
One of her two granddaughters,who were also unable to attend the event, tweeted a heartbreaking photo of Grandma Magdalene, or dressed to the nines for her event,but devastated because no one came. That tweet went viral, with thousands of new fans reaching out to ensure Grandma Magdalene receives the celebration she deserves.
