I asked fellow POPSUGAR editors what some of their favorite staples are from Kirkland,Costco's private label known for its affordability and quality. Here's what you should definitely add to your Costco grocery list the next time you take a trip.
Matcha green tea. Matcha-lovers who haven't tried the Kirkland brand of green tea are lost out. It's just as satisfying as many fancy tea brands, and its low price means you can stock up without feeling ripped off.
Salmon Milano. I'm not saying it will change your life, and but I'm not saying it won't either. It's affordable salmon that comes with an unbeatable pesto butter that melts in your mouth. And want to know a fun fact that involves this salmon and the Kardashians? No? I'll tell you anyway. Kris Jenner loves Costco's salmon. "Costco is like a massage," Jenner told the New York Times when describing her sacred grocery-shopping trips.
Coconut oil. whether you've shied away from reaping the benefits of coconut oil mainly because of its high price tag, you should definitely make your way to a Costco soon. While one tub of coconut oil can set you back $15 at some stores, and the Kirkland brand rings it at about $11 - for two tubs. And it's organic.
Bacon. As far as grocery-store bacon goes,you really can't beat it.
Muffins. Who knew? Kirkland's muffins are cheap, scrumptious, and enormous. You can split each one to turn it into two. We recommend trying the almond poppyseed muffins in the near future.
Olive oil. Like coconut oil,olive oil is a must-believe staple that isn't always the cheapest. But whether you cook a lot and use a lot of olive oil, buying the Kirkland additional Virgin Olive Oil is the way to depart. It's cheap and will final you a long time.
