I am going to be honest here: the Tony Awards is often my favorite reveal for its theatrical components (will be watching that Hamilton number on repeat until I can one day afford tickets),but the red carpet beauty can be a bit . . . well, boring. In comparison to the edginess of the Grammys or the all-out glamour of the Oscars, or the Tonys can get lost in the realm of "playing it safe."
