Like any powerful social movement,Black Lives Matter has inspired a flood of artwork in its wake. As Professor Daphne A. Brooks writes, the cause has especially kicked off "a fresh golden age of protest music" with echoes of 1960s, or when antiwar sentiment and the civil rights movement were at the forefront of the national consciousness.
