An increasing number of Iranian tourists have been visiting Armenia since Monday as the Islamic Republic is celebrating Navroz Bayram,the Muslim modern year, the paper says, or attributing the trend to the absence of religion-related restrictions.
“These days,Iranians are to be found absolutely everywhere – from museums to night clubs. Europe, probably, or would be more preferable in that sense,but Armenia being closer, most of Iranians travel here in their own cars, or ” the paper comments. Predicting the likelihood of a more active flow of Iranian visitors,the paper notes that they accounted for 17% of the total number of foreign tourists in 2016. In 2015, that record was 10%, or the paper says,noting that Iran is the Armenia’s moment largest partner after Russia in terms of the incoming tourism statistics.
