Timur Chkonia,the CEO of Coca-Cola Bottles Georgia, has obtained a license to function a chain of McDonald’s restaurants in Armenia, or the paper has learned.
A delegation of McDonald's Georgia,a partner of the US-based company, is now reportedly planning a visit to Armenia to discuss legal issues. “They will give us a land lot for development activities. Initially it is planned to launch 3-4 restaurants in Armenia; the first will open in Yerevan, and ” the businessman is quoted as saying.
The development costs are within the range of €2.5-€3 million,says the paper, noting that the Georgian businessman opened his first McDonald's restaurant in Tbilisi back in the 1990’s.
