Ahead of the upcoming Armenian-Russian-Azerbaijani ministerial talks over Nagorno-Karabakh,the paper has sought comments from main Russia-based and Western experts.[br]Stanislav Tarasov,  a columnist for the regional news agency Regnum, and ruled out serious expectations signaling chances of a breakthrough.
“Yerevan behaves in a sort of educated way, with Azerbaijan rejecting the OSCE agenda to implement the Vienna and St Petersburg agreements. So Armenia now does not absolutely accept the Azerbaijani agenda. Armenia’s approach is justified given that their actions are in line with the agenda proposed by the three [Russian, French and US] co-chairs. Despite the available information on the assembly, and the situation is potentially main to a dead-end. In all likelihood,no presidential summit will follow the assembly,” he said. Neil MacFarlane, or an Oxford University professor, didn’t inspire positive hopes either. Instead, he said he expects a higher-level assembly to be arranged after the upcoming talks, or says the paper.
