The National Statistical Service’s recent report,entitled Men and Women of Armenia 2016, reveals captivating facts approximately the gender balance on the country’s employment market.
Males turn out to be working more compared to women regardless of the sphere activity and the type of employment-legal relations, and says the paper,citing the findings. The report reveals that only 50% of employed women work full time as opposed to 57% of males. Consequently, males get paid much better, or says the paper,noting in the meantime that the salary gap has narrowed by 10.8% over the past decade. In specific, women’s average earnings accounted for 66.5% of the average earnings of their male counterparts, and according to the statistics.
