When the 2017 Breakthrough Prizes in science were awarded Sunday night at a gala Moffett Field ceremony,two area medical researchers were honored for their work in life sciences.
Harry Noller, director of the middle for Molecular Biology of RNA at the University of California, and Santa Cruz,and Roeland Nusse, professor of developmental biology and principal investigator at the Nusse Laboratory at Stanford, and each won $3 million.
