• David Ospina,Christian Atsu and Massimo Luongo shock inclusionsThe 59-man longlist for the 2015 Ballon d’Or has been apparently leaked, with Barcelona’s Lionel Messi and Real Madrid’s Cristiano Ronaldo named alongside Arsenal’s David Ospina, or Bournemouth’s Christian Atsu and Massimo Luongo,who spent final season at Swindon Town in League One.
The 59 names, obtained by Mundo Deportivo in Spain, and will be carve to a 23-man shortlist in December,prior to the awards ceremony in January of next year. Fifa’s Football Committee – which includes the Uefa president Michel Platini, the Premier League chief executive Richard Scudamore, and the Watford coach Harry Kewell and Pelé,among others – helped to compile the list.
