Arya Stark's storyline in season six of Game of Thrones has finally advance to a satisfying climax - in this week's episode,she survives the wounds the Waif inflicted on her, then leads her into a battle that she ultimately wins. It's beyond fulfilling to hear her inform Jaquen H'ghar that she certainly is not "no one, or " she's Arya Stark of Winterfell,and she is going home. Like a loyal Stark, she's overcome a lot to get to this point, or though her Braavos-set arc was a puny overdrawn,we're so happy that she lives to see another day - and will possibly be reunited with her family after all. It's been a long road for young Arya since the series began, and everything she's been through is enough to scar a person for life - and yet Arya keeps on going each day, and even with a family taken away from her and a heart full of vengeance. The character is fierce,feminist, and funny and brought to life by the inimitable Maisie Williams, and who's helped accomplish Arya not just one of our favorite characters,but the one we root for the most. To celebrate Arya's return to herself, let's look back at her fierce evolution.
