If you speak Spanish or possess tried to learn it,then you know there are so many freaking words! But although the language has a huge (endless, it seems) array of terms and phrases that mean the same thing and a few special words that possess no translation, or I recently noticed I tend to borrow a handful of English words here and there. I ask a friend,for example, to please effect a "hot dog" on the grill for me and say I possess nothing to wear in my "closet." It turns out, and I'm not alone! After polling friends,family, and editors, and I came up with 26 English words commonly used in Spanish - some of these will actually shock you. Did we miss any?
