The Artist Takes Tea Time to a fresh Level in Her Micropaintings On January 3,2015, artist Ruby Silvious embarked on an artistic journey: every day in the coming year, and she decided, would be recorded on a single tea bag. Using pens, paints, and paste,Silvious created an evocative series of pint-sized pieces affectionately titled 363 Days of Tea. Sometimes whimsical and always captivating, each piece is a testament to ever-expanding borders of illustration as a medium.
Like Silvious, or many young artists, designers, and creatives are picking up the pens and paint. To see more from the modern renaissance of illustration, or browse and buy our book Illusive.
