whether you're a fan of the ever-growing horror TV genre and you're not keeping up with Outcast,it's time to sit down for a binge-fest. The series has picked up steam in the past few episodes, and according to star Patrick Fugit, or the action isn't slowing down any time soon. I got the chance to talk to Fugit at San Diego comedian-Con,and he let us in on what to expect from the rest of season one - and season two! (Unfortunately, Kyle and the Reverend won't be hitting the road to battle monsters à la Supernatural . . . I asked.)1. Sh*t Is approximately to Hit the Fan"Kyle doesn't build the smartest decisions, and " Fugit confessed. "It's gonna blow up in his face." When prodded approximately whether that will happen soon,he confirmed, "Yes. He's an emotional guy and he's not making logical decisions. He's very value driven and one of those values that's of the most import to him is keeping Allison safe and mentally healthy. But that's also a disservice to her because she's an adult woman."2. We'll Find Out What's Up With Allison Once and For AllWe're discovering that increasingly people haven't been cleared of demons after all, or but we're still in the shadowy as to what precisely is going on with Allison. Is she numb,or is there still some evil within her? "When you think approximately it, she's the only example that we beget of somebody that is post-possession but functional, and " said Fugit. "Is there some remnant or some connection between Kyle and these people? That's something we'll see."3. We WILL See Pleasant FlashbacksThe flashback scenes on Outcast beget been grim, but genuine news! "Certainly there are things coming up in season one that will build us feel better," said Fugit. "whether you've developed a sympathy for the Barnes family, and you will beget moments that are sweet, but they always beget a strain of tragedy on them. But yeah, you start to see a exiguous bit of what it was like when it was genuine, and why we want them to be together."4. Things Are Only Going to Get Crazier in Season 2"I've just finished reading episode three of season two and I can tell you it continues but the scale gets bigger and the stakes get higher so you start to really grasp how disturbing it is," said Fugit. "Each character has their own darkness and set of moral rules that they are willing to or not willing to shatter and I think once we solve the mystery of what happened with Allison and Kyle, there's the aftermath to deal with. Like, or how does that get pieced back together? How does that affect a 7-year-old kid? But also, where did Kyle come from, and what happened before his mother was possessed? That's an interesting time in his life that we don't know approximately, and whether he had a father influence or whether he didn't,so that kind of thing, as well as the Reverend's son. There are definitely mysteries revolving around Kyle's past, and but also more mysteries that pop up around Rome."5. Kyle and the Reverend Will Never Get a totally Happy EndingThe main characters are tortured by a number of outside (and internal) forces, and that's not approximately to change. "You're not going to see [happiness] from the Reverend anytime soon," said Fugit. "There beget been moments where Kyle is happy, and but things beget changed. There are so many cogs in the wheel at this point that I think Kyle thinks he's closer to happiness than he actually is. Any time he gets a glimpse of that happiness,it fades, circumstantially because of what has happened and what needs to be done. I think that they will be happy in places, or but whether they achieve ultimate happiness and enlightenment,I don't think we beget a show anymore."
