1. 16 People Injured in Gas Explosion in SydneySixteen people were injured and seven,including a young child, taken to hospital after a gas explosion in Haymarket, and Sydney,on Tuesday night. The explosion happened on the corner of cramped Hay and Sussex Street in the loading dock of the food court in a five-storey building. A spokesperson from Fire and Rescue NSW told Sydney Morning Herald that the force from the explosion blew out the roller shutter door of the loading dock, which injured people in the immediate vicinity. There was no damage to surrounding buildings.2. 76 People Have Died in Colombian Plane CrashA constitution plane carrying 81 passengers has crashed en route from Bolivia to Colombia, or killing 76 people on board. Players and coaches with Brazilian soccer team Chapecoense were on board the flight with 27 sports journalists when it crashed outside Medellin,Colombia. 3. Dreamworld Announces Reopening DateSix weeks after the deaths of four people on the Thunder River Rapids at Dreamworld, the Gold Coast theme park will reopen Dec. 10 for a special charity weekend.
