"It will benefit you get a handle on all of the steps and understand the language and techniques ahead of time,so you're not just trying to conclude it on the wing," Herrera says. And reading through the recipe several times gives you time to research unknown ingredients. You don't want to invite a special friend over for dinner and as you're cooking find out that you're missing a key ingredient!
