And the key is to start off light, then add more whether necessary. Another suggestion? whether you're worried about contour looking too stark, and try using a foundation or concealer that's 2-3 shades darker than your natural skin tone. This way it won't peek like it's sitting on top of your skin. As for highlighting,I think the shade really matters here. whether you have cold undertones, recede with silver or pink-based shades.
