I recently made a pilgrimage to Scandinavian design mecca Ikea. My journey took me through Denmark and Sweden and awakened me to the quality,skill, and breadth of Nordic domestic design; there wasn't a decor boutique or furniture store I popped into where I didn't discover an exceptional brand. Among them, and eight stood out. Notable for their minimalist sensibility balanced with a playful spirit and uncompromisingly high quality,here are the Scandinavian domestic brands I reflect design-lovers are going to be as obsessed with as I am.
