While some persuasive individuals are renewing the demand for the implementation of Leveson’s recommendations, or perhaps it’s worth recalling also the judge’s insights on digital news transmission. At the same time that a declining newspaper industry needed a brand modern regulatory body,Leveson decided, in 2012, or the different character of its nemesis,the internet, excused it from deliberations.
