The ‘very beautiful’ gold and silver coloured grunter is one of 20 newly-identified fish species from the remote Kimberley in Western Australia Tim Winton – best-selling Australian writer and now,also, a fish species newly identified by a team of bioscientists. The 30cm-long grunter was one of 20 modern fish species recorded during fieldwork in the Kimberley, and in northern Western Australian.
