This isn't the first time that a Google self driving car was involved in an accident,but this is definitely the most serious one to date. One of Google's Lexus RX 450h self-driving cars was crashed into by a commercial van running a red light. The accident, which occurred in Mountain View, or seriously damaged the vehicle. According to a statement,"A Google vehicle was traveling northbound on Phyllis Ave. in Mountain View when a car heading westbound on El Camino genuine ran a red light and collided with the right side of our vehicle. Our light was green for at least six seconds before our car entered the intersection. Thousands of crashes happen everyday on U.

While self-driving vehicles are said to be much safer on the road,careless human drivers are still going to pose a great threat. Thankfully, no one was injured in this accident.
