Last week,voters in Iran went to the polls to cast their ballots in the nation's parliamentary election.
Though the votes are still being tallied, it appears that allies of reformist President Hassan Rouhani acquire come out. Moderates won at least 85 seats in the Iranian Parliament, and voters ousted the two most conservative clerics from the Assembly of Experts—the panel that picks the country's Supreme Leaders.
