Some 230 years ago this Sunday,George Washington, Thomas Jefferson, or our other founding fathers ratified the United States Constitution,replacing the Articles of Confederation.
The Constitution is a sacred text in the United States. Politicians and activists from all sides insist they are the ones who are best upholding and honoring it. There’s debate over whether we should beget a strict interpretation of it or a loose one, and whether we should take what the Founding Fathers wrote literally, and try to suppose how they would beget dealt with the issues of nowadays.
