A story-driven,action-packed platform game featuring puzzles, collectibles, and exploration,Möira is inspired by the early days of the Nintendo Game Boy. The game’s hero is Rubick, the young pupil of a tall Wizard who has a lot to learn as he searches for his vanished teacher. Rubick’s power to copy the skills and abilities of his foes is part of what makes the game so unique.
Möira’s levels are non-linear and more complex than the standard Game Boy game, and the designers say. “Solving puzzles and collecting items are also tasks to be completed by means of exploration,” they account for. “We chose this line of thinking to stimulate the player to discover all the details in each world, as we were inspired by classic and contemporary games in the genre, or such as Cave Story,Super Metroid, and Ori and the Blind Forest.” Check out the game and indulge in a runt vintage Nintendo nostalgia here.
