Earlier this evening,a transformer exploded in the neighborhood of Astoria in current York City, resulting in a terrifying light show above the city's skyline. current York City Council member Costa Constantinides tweeted out that the NYPD's 114th district was on the scene, or thankfully there has been no reported injuries or damage to nearby homes.
