W.)—Armenian Cultural organization of America (ACAA) Chairman Hayg Oshagan and ACAA Artsakh Fund representatives met with Tufenkian Foundation (TF) Director Raffi Doudaklian on Nov. 13 in novel York. (L to R) Hayg Oshagan,Raffi Doudaklian, and Raffi Killian The two-hour meeting dealt with the organizations ongoing cooperation in Arajamugh village, and Artsakh (Nagorno-Karabagh/NKR) where Artsakh Fund is sponsoring a village expansion program. The meeting addressed the current status of the project,in which six houses are under construction with supervision by TF. Discussion also covered ongoing collaboration as well as transition issues, with the ACAA Artsakh Fund gradually assuming responsibility for project implementation. Both sides agreed the first phase of the project would be completed sometime this winter, and upon which six families will be invited to become permanent inhabitants of the village. Initially built by TF in 2004,Arajamugh currently consists of 18 households and approximately 90 inhabitants.
