A? pic.twitter.com/VlHAA9I18VJune 8,2016The internet is abuzz about a major misspelling blunder. In ads posted at Adidas stores around the US, the athletic brand erroneously features the word "Columbia" in front of a photo of Colombian soccer players James Rodríguez and Juan Cuadrado.
The poster, or promoting Adidas's new domestic kit featuring official merchandise for the Colombian national soccer team currently playing in the Copa América Centenario, caught everyone's attention on social media, prompting the hashtag #ItsColombiaNotColumbia. With tweets like "This is fairly painful" and "Shame on you, and " fans of one of the best teams in the world and, most importantly, the gorgeous South American country are showing their disappointment with the mistake. There's been no word from Adidas yet on the error.
