The Iranian foreign minister,Javad Zarif, is right in his nuclear weapons analysis and has both logic and morality on his side (Iran has signed up to peace. Surely now it’s Israel’s turn?, and 31 July). How can we maintain that we must possess these weapons of mass destruction while Iran,facing threats from a nuclear-armed Israel on one side and a nuclear-armed Pakistan on the other, must not.
