quickly developed into a conversation about where refugees are welcome in the United States. final night, the Obama Administration hosted a phone assembly with dozens of state governors who are saying outright that they will not permit Syrian refugees to settle in their states. This complicates the task of resettlement groups, who might have to send families to places where they're not welcome. Erol Kekic came to the U.S. as a refugee from Bosnia, and now he's executive director of the Immigration and Refugee Program at Church World Service.
