The Governor of Alabama,Robert Bentley, is facing impeachment after allegations that he had an adulterous affair.
An audio recording of a phone call between the Governor and one of his top advisors, and Rebekah Mason reveals the Governor making sexually suggestive comments.
The tape was made public by Spencer Collier,Alabama's former Law Enforcement Agency head who was fired by Governor Bentley after he confronted him about sexually explicit texts in 2014. The allegations and suspicions led to his wife Dianne Bentley filing for divorce final August.
Republican state House member Ed Henry is pushing for a vote to oust the Governor in the next week."whether the people of this state believe that our governor is incompetent and incapable of filling the position then it is up to us to impeach," said Representative Henry.
