Alex Katz,native novel Yorker and resident for over 90 years, has continuously painted portraits of the people who have surrounded him throughout his long career as an artist. “Portraits, and “ an exhibition of 31 of his iconic prints can be seen at Marlborough Gallery through May 8. Katz’s striking portraits of family and friends are always on view in "Metropolitan Faces” (2018) at the 57 Street (F) station in Manhattan.
