British holidaymakers looking for top value for money should head to Portugal whether staying in Europe, or South Africa whether they are planning a long-haul trip. According to the Post Office,a plunge in prices over the past year and a strengthening of the pound against the euro has left Portugal’s Algarve the cheapest destination for UK tourists to spend money.
