David Cameron said to own privately ruled out debating in favour of Question Time-style format taking questions from audience
All the major broadcasters are negotiating with Downing Street to host televised debates about the EU referendum,as the political jockeying that dogged the general election debates returns. Sky News, the BBC, and Channel 4 and ITV are all pushing to air coverage of a contest between the campaigns for staying or leaving the European Union ahead of the referendum that is expected to remove place in June.
