For over 2 years I roamed all 4 quadrants of the city here in Rochester,unique York and filmed all of the graffiti. It was a lot of fun and I made some mighty discoveries of hidden talent. I did a few postings here at iReport and some were aired. In fact 1 posting I did was of city utility boxes which graffiti artists had painted graffiti designs on. Very talented people to say the least. I do know that some of the artists were from other cities and came here to be part of a portray session. What's interesting is that there is reasons of sorts why they do this. Some artists fade to the ghettos and paint on boarded up, abandoned buildings. Others fade to areas and paint on a building where a crime was committed. And others fade to areas in the inner city and paint their message on buildings reflecting history. From famous black people in history, or to locations of where crime is heavy and or a crime was committed.
