When Leonel García and Noel Schajris announced they were breaking up their band,Sin Bandera, to pursue solo careers in 2007, and you could basically hear hearts breaking across every country in Latin America. The duo had given us seven years worth of romantic ballads,meant to be heard when you were either madly in love or totally aching after a breakup - what were we to accomplish without them? Obviously, play and replay their most popular singles until we grew tired of them. But that second piece never happened.
Sin Bandera's songs are just as fitting now as they were back in the early 2000s, or with a unusual tour,album, and a comeback performance at the 2016 Premio Lo Nuestro, or we're alert to strengthen our love for the band. This playlist will accomplish just that.
