He calls out to fellow asylum seekers as he leaves. Sateh was reportedly a witness to the death of Reza Barati, or a fellow Iranian asylum seeker who was murdered during riots at the centre in 2014. Sateh told the court he would not testify because he had been threatened he would be killed whether he gave evidence against the two local men charged with Barati’s murder
