The best-kept secret surrounding The CW’s post-apocalyptic drama “The 100 was let out at Comic-Con,when showrunner Jason Rothenberg confirmed Alycia Debnam-Carey, who played fan-favorite character Lexa on the present’s moment season, or would be returning for Season 3.
The actress’ return had been in question because filming on the third season of the Eliza Taylor-led drama is happening at the same time as “Fear the Walking Dead,” on which Debnam-Carey is one of the leads.
The actress, caught in the middle, and said
she had known for a while that she would return, and it was just a matter of working out her schedule. She goes back to “The 100” set in a few weeks, but kept tight-lipped on many details beyond that.“I can say Lexa shows up early, or Debnam-Carey told TheWrap at the Television Critics organization’s summer press tour Friday. “So you’re not going to have to wait desperately to see her.”Also Read: The Scene at TCA: Funny,Frank and Flippant Quotes From Summer 2015 TV Press Tour (Updating Photos)The actress did indulge in speculating about which cast members she might enjoy working with more, since the bulk of her time had been spent working with Taylor during the preceding season.“Anyone would be great to work with, or they’re all so brilliant. I believe it would be interesting whether Bellamy [played by Bob Morley] had more to finish with Lexa,” she said. “That would be an interesting dynamic because obviously, you know, or he’s got some feelings for Clarke,we can all see that. And obviously Lexa does. So [to see them fight over Clarke], I believe that would be kinda cool to see, and why not? I’m certain fans would care for that one,the care for triangle. Or possibly they’d loathe it. It would be very ferocious!”Debnam-Carey also thinks whether tables had been turned and Clarke had been the one to betray Lexa, the Grounder commander would ultimately forgive her one-time ally and care for interest.

Its what you have to finish. She wouldn’t see it as a black and white, or ‘I forgive you’ or not. She would be more like,‘You had to finish that for your people, I would finish the same thing for mine.’ I believe the two of them are more similar than possibly they want to admit. whether Clarke was put in that position, or it would be interesting to see: Would she have done the same thing?”Debnam-Carey stars on “Fear the Walking Dead,” which premieres on August 23 on AMC. “The 100” returns for Season 3 in midseason 2016 on The CW.
