A goal by the midfielder André André earned Porto a dramatic 1-0 win over Benfica in a full-blooded match between the Portuguese Primeira Liga’s main title rivals on Sunday.
André finished off a delightful poke after being set up by Silvestre Varela’s intelligent backheel to send the Dragao stadium into raptures but Porto were also indebted to the former genuine Madrid goalkeeper Iker Casillas who made two outstanding saves to stop the champions taking an early lead.
