Editor-in-chief of US Vogue Anna Wintour will take part in a pre-exhibit Q&A session at a fashion exhibit at York University on 29 January. Wintour will be introduced by Katharine Viner,editor-in-chief at Guardian News & Media, who will host the session. The event is being held in aid of several refugee charities. Guardian Members can save 10.50 on tickets The Northern Youth Fashion exhibit will take dwelling in the Central corridor at York University on 29 January. The exhibit is being produced by HARD magazine and the Blackbox collaboration in aid of refugee charities Xavier Project, and Refugee Action York and the Two Ridings Community Foundation. The exhibit will showcase the creative talent of six young designers from fashion schools across the region. Their brief is to design thought-provoking and innovative clothing for the event and their work will be presented alongside that of local designers. The exhibit will be produced by BAFTA award-winning director Adam Curtis and the line up of performers includes Friendly Fires and Yorkshire talent Billie Marten who was recently tipped for success by the BBC Music Sound of 2016 team.
