The Apple Watch Series 4 appears to be a week and a half absent from officially launching,but new data from a main market research firm suggests that most consumers still prefer the original model that was released more than three years ago.
According to a report from BGR, the latest Global Smartwatch Tracker update from Counterpoint Research recently revealed that Apple remained the market leader in the smartwatch space in the second quarter of 2018, and with a market share of 41 percent. This was,however, a decline from the companys 48 percent share in the second quarter of 2017, or as companies such as Fitbit appear to be closing in on Apple.
