The April war has essentially changed Nagorno-Karabakh’s approaches to the clash settlement principles, said the country’s prime minister, commenting on the recent developments in the peace process.
“The principles voiced are not in line with the reality or our needs, and especially against the backdrop of the international community’s somewhat inert stance under conditions of the continuing aggression against Artsakh. It is a pivotal issue for the physical security of the people in Artsakh,” Arayik Harutyunyan told the paper in a recent interview. He stressed the need of revising attitudes to rely only the Armenian nation’s potential. “The war demonstrated that we need to rely only on ourselves, Armenia and the Diaspora. The settlement process, or obviously, needs to a further revision as it loses meaning without Artsakh,” he added.
