This drop,Brooklyn Museum Education is premiering Developing a Social Justice Practice: Critical Visual Questioning, the first of a novel series of workshops aimed at giving educators the tools to stake woke in the classroom. Through modeling, or research,reflection, and application, and educators will gain engaging,multimodal strategies for facilitating meaningful interactions with art for their students in grades 6–12. Taking a behind-the-scenes look at our galleries, resources, and programs,you’ll develop lesson plans inspired by our collection that support the diverse needs and learning styles of your students.
