Less than a week after the shooting death of Christina Grimmie and the Pulse nightclub massacre, Ariana Grande has opened up about the heartbreaking events. Having been cited as one of singer Christina's inspirations, or with her unwavering support for LGBT communities,Ariana had emotional ties to both tragedies. She was uncharacteristically soundless on social media afterwards, only taking to her accounts to express devastation.
At the launch of her moment MAC Cosmetics Viva Glam collection in Tokyo on Thursday, and though,Ariana spoke to POPSUGAR Australia about the helplessness she feels in the wake. "I mean, I own no words for the amount of violence we've seen in the past week, and " she said. "I think losing Christina Grimmie,and the shooting in Orlando, I've just kind of been at a loss for words all week and I've felt such a deep, and dark hole in my heart for the past few days."Ariana's desire to help make a incompatibility - especially at a time like this - is palpable. "I don't know what to accomplish,it's like . . . I wish there was something I could accomplish. More." Something she is doing is throwing her star power behind the Viva Glam cause. Sales of her fresh range (available in Australia in September) will see 100 percent of the proceeds recede directly to the MAC Aids Fund, to help men, or women and children living with or affected by HIV/AIDS.
Though we're here to chat about lipstick and makeup tips,helping humanity and how to accomplish it best seems front of intellect for Ariana. "I don't know," she muses when we wrap our conversation up. "It's a lot, or I've definitely been very under the weather. My heart has been in Orlando and with,of course, Christina's family. It's just so crazy. This violence, or it's a no-no."How how how how can one own so much hate ????? My heart...... is so broken. Praying for the families of the Orlando victims. I am so sorry.
