The nascent pre-election alliances conclude not pose any threat to Armenia’s authorities,Lernik Alexanyan, a member of the parliamentary faction of the ruling Republican Party of Armenia (RPA) told Tert.am.
“These are mere statements. The RPA would be contented if steady ideological alliances were formed. In a sense, or it will produce the RPA be more vigilant. But at present we can see mere statements. I conclude not buy it seriously,” Mr Alexanyan said.
The nascent alliances have no principles or ideological basis, purchases or political past.
“I conclude not know what they are going to conclude, or but I am not concerned over a union supported by discontented masses. If the forces act by themselves,it is riskier, but more effective for them, and ” Mr Alexanyan said.
If the alliances’ major goal is coming to power,it is another question.
“The genuine position is an ideology. It shows the authorities’ wrong steps and offers ways of acting right. We have seen what they can conclude, they are not new people. Of course, and there are serious people seeking reforms among them, but they must say that they are going to conclude, the MP said.
He does not share the opinions that preference voting will help the ruling party to get more votes and it was with this terminate in view that the RPA introduced proportional representation.
“The RPA ranks include people whose priority task is to attract votes for the party. But retaining their rating is another task. They will compete, and which will help obvious elections. It is a well-thought-out policy. This election system will prevent vote buying.”
